It was about 10 seasons before PP felt like home. Still miss the walk from the station and everything about the BBG so much.
Live in Chesterfield and Saltergate was a comfort. Combined both sets of home games for many years, standing on the Kop watching Town whilst lstening to Rams playing away. Couldn't face moving to a new stadium again. It was all too painful. So now I listen to Rams away from my settee................... .And hurl abuse / encouragement as loud as I like !!!

Baseball Ground rules....I didn't get to the last game there, but did visit before they pulled it down, walked on to the pitch knelt down and kissed the turf with tears in my eyes.... B) B) B) Pride parks just another concrete bowl I'm afraid :(

Loved the BBG, and personally I think the food was better there than at PP. However as many good memories I have of BBG, I think it was right to move to PP, the ground is big, plenty of space around it, and pretty easy to get to for the majority.

Having said that, i have signed the petition for the away supporters to be moved, as they are in a place where only a handful can make a lot of noise, and I think that we need to be the ones with that advantage. Maybe then the atmosphere will return, and we can start to love PP a little more.

I think we actually used to have a half decent atmosphere in pp, pp died when they moved the away fans into the far corner rather than in the middle of the stand near the rams fans
I can't remember there being anything comparable to the BBG at PP, just another faceless stadium. At least the current board have tried to inject a bit of Derby County's history into the place

I can't really compare very well as I was 15 when we moved but I always thought we made a lot more noise than we do now,

I was about the same but even at that age I was underwhelmed when we moved, seemed to leave a lot behind at BBG as a club

I sincerely hope ther will be someting for you young uns to reminisce about with such fondness in 30+ years time when you look back on Derby County's past in your lifetime.
I recall being on shifts when Leeds lost, Liverpool drew, and Rams had won the title.
A lot of the older men used to tell me how much better the Rams teams of the past were than Cloughie's team. recalling the '46 winners of the FA cup with Jackie Stamps (who used to still go to the BBG when I first started going) etc.
No doubt their dads told them about Steve Bloomer etc who is now rightly enthrones at PP.
Ob la di ob la da life goes on. Here's to your good old days. Let's hope PP helps create them for you.

Me telling my 12 year old lad of my lifetimes "glory years" under the bald eagle and how we beat arsenal 3-0 and united 3-2 away and 2-2 at home and he doesn't believe that its true that we used to play fearless of anyone!
