Gone for a crazy couple of bets £20 on Villa to beat the scum 1-0 and Gabby to score the goal! Have also back a Villa win in a single too. (I know it would have been better to set a £20 note on fire) But was my free bet on bet365

and my final bets on the 1st round games:
Allen @ 1/6
Robertson @ 1/7
Trump @ 1/7
Ding @ 2/9
Bet £1000. Poss Ret £1862
Allen @ 1/6
Robertson @ 1/7
Trump @ 1/7
Selby @ 2/9
Bet £800. Poss Ret £1490
So total stake on 1st round is £3000 with a poss return of £5900
Up to you if you follow my tips but bear in mind that snooker is much more difficult to predict nowadays as the number of tournaments has increased from 6 to about 30 per season and there are no longer any easy games for the top 16 players.
I would be pretty surprised if I made a lot of cash on this years tournament.

Just have to have a bet on tonights Manchester derby but choosing one is proving tough as it's really difficult to find any value.
Have decided to go for a draw HT/FT @ 11/2. £20 on.

I've gone for Man City to have more than 6.5 corners @ evens
Also Iike the option of Man Utd not to win with a clean sheet @ 1/4 as I can definately see City scoring..

Good effort Bris.
I saw they were on 5 before half time. I've never really bet on football but I think I'm going to start.
6 or more corners for City in a game like that at evens must have felt like buying money.
Congrats and enjoy the winnings.
I STILL fancy United to win it by the way. A win and a draw will be enough as City will get turned over by the mags.

It did feel strange seeing that bet.. I never really bet on corners but sometimes you can see very good odds.. Especially for teams that like to use the wings and get forward often..
I bet something like Liverpool having more than 12.5 corners in the Carling Cup final vs Cardiff at 2/1 once.. They ended up having something like 23 in normal time..
Suprisingly deadball specialist teams like Blackburn, Stoke, Everton, Bolton, Villa etc.. Rarely get that many corners as the ball is pumped into the box from further out, making the angle harder for them to win a corner.. The wingers rarely get to the byline..
The best team I've seen for it is Man City and Liverpool.. They both average over 11 corners a game..
